On Saturday, November 9th, Designer’s Studio hosted “The Art of Entertaining”. This was a wonderful day of collaboration. Our customers were “oohed” and “aahed” as Lead Designer, Geri Jordan, spent the afternoon moving throughout the studio with friend and colleague, Daniel Vaughn.
Together, Geri and Dan set various tables to inspire entertaining ideas for the upcoming holiday season. Geri pulled together tabletop accessories, linen and dishware to create a lovely presentation while Daniel followed his lead and created floral arrangements from the bottom up, using natural elements, flowers and grasses. The combined talents of these two reputable professionals captivated guests who stayed for hours to soak up tips and tricks for their own entertaining.
Brian Sudol, our Garnier-Thiebaut French Linen representative was also on hand with a beautiful selection of linens as part of the Garienr-Thiebaut Trunk Show. Brian demonstrated the unparalleled stain treatment on each piece of linen and discussed appropriate care to maintain this valuable feature. Brian has a keen design sense and assisted many customers with their linen selections based on table size, shape, desired style and color scheme.
As guests strolled the studio, watched demonstrations and shopped, they sipped champagne and enjoyed a delicious assortment of appetizers and desserts. The popularity of this event has made it an annual event and one you won’t want to miss next fall!
